The distinguished designs of the Te Rongomau blanket has been Jacquard woven, a complex style that combines 5 weave structures at 35 threads per square cm.  Crafted using 100% New Zealand Lambswool and featuring a contrasting blanket stitch edge, it has gone through an open-width scouring process and has a soft natural hand-feel.  With a reversible pattern for double the decorative potential, the yarn colours featured in Te Rongomau that bring this design to life are, alabaster, rimurimu haze, heartwood and karaka berry.

Wool blankets are also very easy to care for and you don’t need to wash them often, in fact, it’s best to wash them sparingly and some guidelines recommend washing wool blankets once every three months.
