An Evening Inside Te Whare o Rongo

An Evening Inside Te Whare o Rongo

Our last collection sold out in a way that moved us deeply. To see each piece find its place in homes and moments of meaning is something we continue to hold close.

We stepped back to breathe, to reflect and to create with intention once more - but before we share what's next, we wanted to look back at our gathering in the Papuke Room at The Hotel Britomart to celebrate the unveiling of Te Whare o Rongo.

Friends, whānau and creative peers gathered around the table in an atmosphere that was both intimate and expansive.

As each design was revealed, so too were the narratives that inspired them: the unseen corners of the heart, the generosity of the long table and the cycles of renewal that bind us all. These stories offered a reminder that peace is not distant, but woven into the fabric of our daily lives.

The dinner honoured not only craft, but collaboration and community - the threads that hold us together. It was a moment to pause, to reflect and to acknowledge the deeper currents that shape our work and our world.

Together with those gathered we invested the mauri (life essence) of Te Whare o Rongo with karakia - ready to be established in the hearts and homes of those near and far, carrying its spirit of peace into unseen corners.
